The original yard was a concrete jungle with a staircase that extended into the centre of the yard. The new wrought iron staircase now hugs the side of the house, giving us a huge entertainment space paved in limestone and a wrought iron and travertine dining table takes pride of place. The property is on an incline, so we dropped a pool into the lower section of the garden and the glass pool fence is the perfect sound barrier while offering full visibility for child safety.
